This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     S560 Driver Installation

    I'm doing a fresh install of XP Pro but am having trouble installing a few of the drivers provided by Sony at http://esupport.sony.com. They are the programmable i/o device driver and touchpad driver. When I run the executables, they say that it is "not intended for my computer model." Anyone run into similar issues... or have success with the same files? I have the recovery CD so I know I can use that route but have always preferred using the files from the website as it is easier. This process worked fine for my S150 and S360. The website provides the same files for all 3 models btw.
