I never had this problem before, but recently I noticed that my battery is draining when my computer is off (in hibernation). The battery was fully charged (100%) and then I put my laptop away. 2 days later I start it up and my battery is at 1%. This happened twice so far and appears to still be occuring.

I took out the battery and nothing seems to be abnormal. I'm going to try and get my hands on another battery and give it a shot. Anyhow, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks.

Thats odd, Hibernate is supposed to save its current state and therefore not use battery.
This might sound kind of lame but are you sure it was hibernate and not standb-by?

Your lame comment turned out to be correct. Apparently I changed "closing lid of laptop" to initiate standby rather than hibernate and forgot all about it. I am an idiot.

I thought standby lasted longer but I guess I was wrong.

    Thanks.
