My 6 month old S Vaio started up like normal by making the vaio sound and loading the vaio image. The only problem was that hanged up right on the vaio screen. So the vaio image was still on and the computer did not continue booting. Once I restarted everything was back to normal. My question is has, anyone had this problem before? Does this mean that my mainboard is going. Please help. Im very nervous because I had an S150 that died on me.

If it doesn't occur repeatedly I wouldn't worry too much about it. But be aware for other signs of possible hardware damage like rebooting, blue screens etc.
