I am torn on which to get. For essentially the same price I can get the SE with the I7, or the SA with an I5 2520. With the free sheet battery promo going on bat life won't be that big of a deal. Should I go for the SE with the better screen res or is the SA superior in build quality? Thanks for your help!

I am having the same debate in my head. At first, I thought i wanted the portability of the SA. Then I started hearing about fan noise issues and that the screen was not so good.

I happened to see them both in a Microcenter. The SE is pretty thin and light for a 15in laptop, but it is still thicker than the SA. However, the screen is sooo much nicer on the SE. 1920 x 1080 and great viewing angles.

On top of that, Sony is offering $500 off addons and a free sheet battery on their website. I think I am probably going to go with the SE.

O what other addons are offered? Is that the US site?
