    Do you have it switched to stamina? If not, do that ;) That disables the AMD graphics completely, you dont need the AMD gpu during idle/desktop work anyway. The Intel HD3000 has enough performance for desktop work, watching HD content, etc.

    It's a 'feature' of the S series. You've bought a badly designed laptop that has inadequate cooling.

    My S series (SE) has no such problem.

    my SA also does not have this problem, and i'm using the oldest BIOS which does not have modified fan profiles.
