    Hello,
I just purchased a HyperX 120GB from Newegg and installed it in my Sony SA290 laptop. I downloaded and ran AS SSD and got these speeds and would like to know if they're "good" as I do not know what the tiers for each of these categories for speed are.
    Thank you,
    -Kenny

the sequential read speeds look right, the sequential writes look horrible according to the specs on Newegg saying that it's up to 510MB/s for sequential writes.

However, according to this review, you're spot on for the target speed:
Kingston HyperX 240GB SSD Review > Benchmarks: AS SSD Benchmark - TechSpot Reviews

they have a 240GB drive, so it'll be faster than yours but they're still seeing only about ~270MB writes. I'm not sure how big the test file is, but i'd do at least 1GB to be sure.
