Has any one had a similar experience? it happened to me repeatedly with this new vaio and i have never ever experienced it before with any notebook.

I put it in suspend and when i take it out from the bag, it is either hot or dead...

well not completely dead since it will again go into suspend to disk when it reaches a battery level of about 2%...

i mean to have disabled all kinds of google wakes....

i have no idea what makes this device switch itself on all the time....

by the way: i just checked: it is definitely no key that wakes it up. i do not put it into sleep or standby mode. i put it in a mode that is either to be called hibernate or suspend to disk. so that actually no light is blinking orange anymore. everything is dark.

and still it switches on. so some software action must be waking it up...it may very well be some scheduled task that i may not have conditioned for AC only, provided tasks can wake a pc from suspend mode...i don't know about this...
