I just clean installed Win 7 Professional into my sister's Vaio CR220E. Everything are OK except Webcam and Battery.

    1. With the Webcam, it seem gone away without any track. There is no device left without driver in Device Manager and no Webcam among of them.
I try to install driver by running the exe file or install.bat but no effective.

    2. The battery die already. There is no problem in Vista but in Windows 7, an alert message said that Battery is wrong plugged or different type and Sony Event Service always force me to hybernate the system and remove then plug the battery again.

Please help with your advise. Many Thanks.

ill address part 2 of your questions. you mustve installed the "isb utility" out of order as part of sony drivers. you must do sony shared library, sony utility, notebook utilities. otherwise, uncheck isb utility from startup in msconfig.

no, it means that you have installed ISB utility which is not checking the battery properly. no need to install it. i didn't and there's no error.

Many thanks. Problem with battery has been solved. It is because I did not install Sony Firmware Extention Parser. The correct procedure
    1. Sony Firmware Extention Parser.
    2. Sony Shared Library
    3. Vaio Notebook Utilities
    and problem with battery gone.

Now Wecam still disappear from the system.

Yes. I already try to install webcam drv by running drv installation exe file and extract it then run the bat file but both method could not help.

I Think You Have To Reinstall Win 7 Then Install Driver In Oder

    1/ Isb Utility
    2/setting Utility Series
    3/vaio Camera Capture Utility
    4/vio Even Service
    5/vaio Power Manager
    Will Be Work
