    Hi all

I recently updated BIOS to the latest version R2087H4. I downloaded the update file (.exe file) from SONY website and installed it as the instruction. There were no problems right after the update.
However a week later, my laptop started acting weird. I'm having a lot of issues with it, for instance:
    - Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome crashed too often
    - Sometimes my display driver stopped responding and then recovered
    - Sometimes I got a message saying "vcsystray.exe has stopped working"
    - BSOD. It's the worst! I'm seeing it 2-3 times everyday
    ...
Do you have any ideas about the problems I'm facing ? Btw, I'm now thinking of downgrading BIOS to an older version. Is it possible ? Is is safe? If so, how can I do it ? Please tell me.

    Thanks in advance.

you can downgrade your BIOS, but if you do it the normal way (download the original one from SONY and try installing it), it will tell you that your BIOS is up to date and will not proceed. you need to extract the BIOS from that executable package and manually install it. i strongly suggest you post your question in this thread and especially read the very first post by pyr0. you don't have to install the hacked BIOS if you don't want to, but it will give you an idea of what needs to be done.
