Hello, I recently baught VGN-FS70B from Japan and I changed the original japanese OS to the English version Windows XP Professional SP2. I managed to find all the required drivers, so my "device manager" looks exactly as in the japanese OS. No problem with drivers! Though, I have two problems: a) How can I get access to and write to DVDs the recovery hidden partition on the HDD? Maybe there is stuff there I can use and b) battery lasts only for 1 hr and 15 min with wlan on. I think this is because when on battery, LCD brightness does not decrease. I tried to use Fn+F5 keyboard keys, but with no luck. How can I decrease LCD Brightness? Sony Power manager of course is missing! Any ideas on how to get some English SONY utilities like the Power manager, or the special keys support? I can't download and install other FS series notebook's software as it's not supported, I get an error.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you in advance,
    Ackroyd.
