I am going nuts trying to troubleshoot a problem for my SONY laptop VGN-FZ21M now with Windows 7. Sony are not being very helpful.

Problem: The cursor is moving in the wrong direction, and behaving erratically. Up, down, back, you name it... we go there...

Sony Support Site refers to a solution on

    VAIO Support Europe

    Section 3:

    For Windows 7:
    Click on Start button
Select VAIO Control Center from the All Programs list
    Expand Keyboard and Mouse
    Select Pointing Device
    Click on Advanced
In the tab Pointer Options, tick the option 'Hide pointer while typing'

But they only provide this "VAIO Control Center" on their VGN-FZ21M Vista Support / Download page.

    VAIO : Sony Europe

But the Vista VAIO Control Center software listed there will not install on a Windows 7 machine. (very clever support solution...)

    Two questions:

Is there a Windows 7 version of the software elsewhere?

Am I looking in the wrong place? Can I fix this some other way?

Many thanks for any help. Would be really appreciated.
