    SONY Warranty on the screen?

    Well I had only bought my laptop about 6 months back, now I notice a little dark spot at the bottom towards the right, I dunno how to explain it, imagine a clean white shee with a darkish grey stain on it. same thing here.

    Will SONY replace my screen under the warranty?

    I will call them tomorrow as they're closed today but the reason i'm asking is I wanna know my rights before calling.

    what kind of warranty do you have?

    if you have the onsite+accidental it basically covers everything (just make sure you call the right number, since that warranty is covered by a 3rd party)

    Oh I dunno what you're talking about? I bought the laptop from Dubai, UAE (middle east).

    All I know is that it is a 1 year warranty.

    I assume it's a deal pixel, if so no they will not replace your screen unless you have an abundant amount of stuck/dead pixels.

    it's not one small dot.......it's like an oval of around a thumb size of darkness
