    A simple question:

    is it possible to use 17" Sony VAIO notebook with dual lamp technologie outside and under bright light ?

    Anyaone personal experience with this ?

    I've no first hand experience of this, but increased backlight brightness should help. Would you be using mains power outside? Two backlight lamps turned up on full brightness will hit the battery life.

    I won't be using the battery - 17" and dual lamps aren't suited for battery use anyway.
