I'm trying to find out what model number is for the Sprint internal WWAN modem. I have the z540 which apparently does not come with this modem installed and would like to put it in. Does anyone have any information on this?

Make sure that there is space for it, i originally bought a Z540 ebb version and i mistakenly thought it had the WWAN and it didn't. I took it back and asked them if they could just install it, they called Sony and told me it had a different motherboard and that it couldn't just be installed and i had to order a different one.

Now they could have lied to me but i'd just check to be sure.

GPS only works when you have the WWAN card on and working
