    Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy a SR290 customized from sony and wanted to get some impressions of the system. I'd been looking into the Asus U6V-A1 but the price difference made me settle on the SR. How's the build quality and performance though? I guess I'm a little skeptical of the sony brand after having heard quite a few complaints.

Also are there any side effects to the integrated graphics option in terms of normal video and dvd playback? I don't anticipate much if any gaming so i'd like to take advantage of a longer battery life.

    Thanks!

    Michael

If the screen of the U6v is like the U6s, the SR screen is a lot better (contrast).
