    SR Refresh?

    On the SonyStyle site the SR can only be configured in 2 colors and you have to order silver to get the ATI card.
    Are they just clearing mass stock to come out with a new SR refresh?

    that sounds about right, i'm guessing most people went with the black so they have a bunch of silvers right now

    people say refreshes come every 3 months, so i'm guessing it's time for the SR refresh to come since I havent heard of it being refreshed lately

    Can't comment on CTO. However the black one with ATI is still on the website for ready to ship. However SR290PDB which has ATI from resellers is backordered right now with a P8400 in black with new shipments expected this coming week.

    I haven't bought anything yet. The battery drain issue is of concern to me even though Sony has its promotion till 3/31/09.

    I have gone back and forth between brands and models and if I should wait for the new multitouch 13.3 models with Windows 7 which really look nice. Toshiba gave a demo on one of these.

    So right now Im in waiting mode.
