Why isnt there an option for BluRay on the SR? Is it because its supposed to be a model more on the business side?

Does anyone know if we would be able to buy the same player that is on the z and install it on the SR?

There is no HDMI port for Blu ray, making it a bit pointless. I do however see space for an HDMI port, so you may be able to expect one in the future.

As for your drive question, I believe the Z's drive is thinner than the SR's, but if you do a transplant (a Z drive inside an SR drive enclosure), then it may be possible.

i dont see the need of an hdmi port for someone who will be using the bluray exclusively on the laptop. I have downloaded some HD content (720p) and it looks so nice on the SR... So its too bad they didnt ad BR...
