    SR140E Screen Flickering-Inverter problem?

    Hi my VGN SR140E screen has a recurring problem. Half of the screen has a white hue that is barely noticeable against light backgrounds, but flickers when the background image is dark. This would happen on some days but not on others. Bending the screen cures the problem sometimes.

    Is the LCD broken or just a loose inverter connection?
