    Hi, All.

I got my SR on Christmas Eve. Everything has been great, until now. Today I connected a VAIO USB mouse to use instead of the touch-pad for the first time. Now, it seems like the touch-pad has gotten a mind of its own. The touch-pad responds, but it seems to be very sporadic. When moving the cursor around, it seems to jump. The movement has also become slow even though in the mouse settings I have it set on fast. It doesn't matter if the USB mouse is plugged in or not, the touch-pad still acts this way. I have tried restarting the computer with the USB mouse plugged in and unplugged and the problem still persists.

The only settings I did alter were the functions of the buttons. Since I use the USB mouse with my left hand, I just switched the function of the right and left click buttons. However, on the touch-pad, I never altered the settings. Right-click is still right-click and left-click is still left-click.

I would appreciate any help with this. Thanks.

I would probably delete the touchpad in hardware devices and re-install it. Make sure you have the drivers ready beforehand. :)

The problem seems to have fixed itself. Weird. Thanks for the tip though.
