I am wondering about why the BIOS version R3220Y1 on the Sony support site is dated 10/13/2009. I downloaded the same version off the site several weeks ago so I am wondering why it is dated only 4 days ago. What am I missing?

Thy probably just made a tweak to the text or description. As a result, the date would change.

You are welcomed to try and re-install, but it will probably say you already have the update or does not apply.

Nah. I figure the versions are probably the same. Besides, the only version I am interested in is the one that would uh, I dunno, make the battery last the actual 6 hours that Sony claims....
