    hey all,

today, after i woke my VAIO SA from sleep and entered the Windows password, the mouse cursor just kept spinning and spinning for about a minute or so, then Windows BSoD'ed and the laptop rebooted. after the reboot, though, i was greeted with the message "Operating system not found". also, when i go into BIOS, there is no mention of any available hard disk. i have a Crucial M4 SSD in this laptop. is it safe to assume that the SSD has crashed and is gone?

any solutions? i've found this "power cycle" solution from Crucial which i'm going to try once i get home, but any suggestion is welcome.
