I recently bought a customized notebook from the Sony UK website, model SVE1512C5E with the following specs:

    Core i5 3210m

    ATi 7650m

    6gb ram

    500gb HDD

Now the problem is that the fan is very loud, as in it just spins at a constant speed and doesn't decrease or increase speed, thus even if the system is not under any load, the fan keeps on going at a very high speed.

Now I noticed that the temperature of the vga is constantly at 128C - this temperature was disaplyed in both Afterburner as well as speedfan. I have the latest ATi drivers, tried uninstalling and reinstalling them to no avail. Bios is also the latest.

Is this normal? Or do I have to RMA ?

    Thanks

Ye, I think I'll RMA it. No, the laptop's heat is just normal, as in, when idle it cool and even the air being blown out by the fan is pretty cool. When gaming it gets a bit hotter but nothing out of the ordinary. The thing is that the fan is also running 100% constantly which is annoying as the sound is unbearable.

Now to RMA the thing, I just send them an email through the contact form and tell them I want to RMA it?
