    Hello,

I found some drivers from other model which comes with win7 (eg. SVE1511CFXS) and it seems that everything look fine in device manager. My problems now:
-after installing Vaio Care,Gate,Location Utility,Shared Library I still don't have any Control Center in control panel. It seems that hotkey utility is missing?
-Fn keys for volume, brightness are working, but with no display on the screen.

When I want to install Hotkey Utilities (from the same win7 SVE1511 support site) I've got the following error:"update is not intended for use with this model".
I tried also with the one for my model (but for win8)...no errors but still no Control Center and no display on the screen for Fn keys.

Is there a order of installing them? (all the drivers are installed)
What Shared Library should I install?for win 8 (but for my model) or for win 7 (other model) - since hotkey utility was only accepted for win8 support site .

    thanks,

When you install Win7 utilities, try to find Model.txt file in Windows folder and edit it the model number in it to match the model number from sony Support site.

    You're a genius..it worked ! Thanks!.
I was stuck on this for more that 1 week.

One more questions : when I press the "VAIO" button a small icon appears on system tray : "Shortcut button is pressed ! To display the dialog box for changing the button assigment....".It only enters in Vaio Center if click on that icon that appears on taskbar after pressing the botton,
Is there any way to access it directly by button?
And in Vaio center there is no "sound" icon. This mean that the driver is not good?

    thanks,

I have SVE14, so it is similar as yours.
To assign VAIO button, go to VAIO Control Center > Hardware, you will see a drop down menu to select an action for VAIO button.
About sound icon, I don't see it either under Win8. So it is not supposed to be there.

The problem is that I don't have any hardware or special buttons in vaio control center.
    Just : system info,power mngm,keyboard and mouse,network,display and security.
