I got my hands on a used Fit 15E and for some reason, the A key on the laptop keyboard is a 3. The 3 key is still a 3. An external USB keyboard works perfectly fine.

It's the same whether I'm using Windows 7 or Windows 10 so it doesn't appear to be a software issue. Using Sharpkeys doesn't help. Both keys are wired to be the same key.

What else can I do short of getting a new keyboard?
