Can anyone help with a question on upgrading the hard drive in a SZ Vaio.

I have ordered an Hitachi Travelstar 7K200 HDD SATA 3 Gb/s Hard Drive, but I have just seen from running HD Tune that my current HDD is SATA I and presumably 1.5 Gb/s.

Are SATA II drives backwards compatible with SATA I, so that the 3Gb/sec drive would be OK in my SZ, or do I need to cancel my order and get the SATA version of the drive??
