    Hey there,

So i have owned my sz 120P for over 2 weeks now and while i am in love with it, a few annoyances i have are the loose battery (which seems to be normal?) but also the optical drive doesnt seem to read all the burned dvds i put in. Sometimes it wont read it, i will take it out and put it back in and it reads it fine. Also some dvd+rw's wont work.

So i was wondering if this optical drive has been fixed on the 220P? If so i think im going to take it back and upgrade to that.

Are there any other benifits to going with the 220P other than the larger hard drive?

    Thanks for your help.

My thread on differentiating between SZ models.

Everyone's battery is loose, by the way.
I suppose you could solve this by applying some sort of adhesive tape to the back of the battery.

I don't know about the optical drive, but if I were you, I would NOT buy another notebook unless you are quite "well off."

If this is so, then get a premium model instead.

    I recommend the 250.
