    Edit: it's a 460N with a cingular wwan

I got the message "The wwan module will turn off the sim card to protect it" or something to that effect just now. I had removed the battery in the morning and now am remote accessing the laptop from work. I don't use the WWan at all.

What could be the reason for this message? Will it affect other parts of the laptop too?
