I recently swapped my OEM hard drive w/ Western Digital Scorpio 320 GB, 5400 RPM, SATA 3GB/S.

I used Apricorn EZ hard drive upgrade kit. I cloned the entire hard drive and installed the new one. Everything works fine except my SZ does not recognize that the capacity is 298GB (320GB). It still reads 143GB (stock hard drive 160GB).
Vista automatically updated the driver but still does not work.

Does anyone here have any idea how to fix this until my SZ recognize the 'real' capacity?

    Thanks

have you tried updating your bios?

I upgraded my 100 gb SZ3 stock hard drive to a 250gb WD and I have no problems
