I am having multiple issues with my SZ650 n/c and they are driving me crazy. I haven't been able to navigate through the maze of Sony support and am ready to toss the laptop out my window. Please help!

    Issues:
Loses wireless signal if lid is closed
Does not pick up wireless signal again unless I disable and then enable via the wireless switch program
    Does not go to sleep
Left track pad button will only work as right click (have double checked trackpad options)
Blue screen of death, shuts down, restarts

    Installed:
Portable One Vista Business restore disk without bloatware
    Office 2007
    Adobe Acrobat 8.0
    Picassa
    Firefox
    McAfee Internet security

I have scanned for viruses/spyware/malware/ect, reformatted, reinstalled drivers and programs several times to no avail.

I appreciate any insight anyone may have.

    Thanks!

Do those problems occur when only installing the Portable One Vista Business disc? The drivers and utilities should already be included with that, so there's no need to reinstall them. Does your SZ650 have the latest BIOS installed, R1022S5?

Follow these instructions to disable the reboot when a BSOD occurs, then Google the error for more help.

    Thanks, everyone.
I do have the latest drivers and smart network updates.
    Still having issues, though...
