    SZ 7400 video drivers?

    Has anyone been able to upgrade video drivers other then Sony specific?

    I don't think there are.
    I tried to upgrade the drive on NVIDIA but it seems only Sony specific version can be used and the installer from NVIDIA doesn't work

    Any time I have run DD to clean up old drivers, nothing ever showed up. The reading on the DD utility that I have done, says that it does not support winxp. Is there another version or utility that you were using?

    Mine are 8.4.2.1. if the fe uses the 7400,then 8421 should work fine.

    As mentioned before, make sure you are also downloading the inf file. It is a link right next to the driver download link. copy it into the directory where the driver files are. If it is still a problem, try a previous driver and inf version from the same site.
