Does anyone know if the extended battery BPL2C from the older model SZ's will work on the 600 series?

Will the reverse work? Will the new VGPBPL9 large capacity battery for the SZ600 work on older SZ models?

the output voltage is 11.1V but the stock one is 10.8V. am afraid it'll fry the motherboard....
