    SZ FSB speed and cannot Hibernate

    Hi, I have a UK SZ61WN which I have downgraded to XP so I can use it at work.. fussy bunch these IT companies!

    The two problems I have are I cannot set the Memory Bus to 533Mhz (always defaults to 400Mhz). This is what SiSoftware Sandra is seeing speeds.JPG

    The second problem I have is I cannot hibernate... I always get the dreaded API error, I have installed KB909095 so that is not the problem. The only way I can get the laptop to hibernate is to kill explorer tree so there is minimal running processes. Seems I will have to go through and narrow the processes down one by one...

    If anyone has any idea on the above problems then I would be very grateful

    install windows patches WindowsXP-KB931784 and another one WindowsXP-KB909095 and hibernation would work perfectly
