I've been clearing out some stuff from my laptop but now my function keys don't work. I'm pretty sure I accidently cleared whatever makes them work, but unfortunately I can't remember everything I cleared. Does anyone know what I'll need to reinstall to make them work again? Thanks. Btw, Vaio Event Service is still there, but the thing to change what the "S" keys do doesn't load anymore.

Anyone know how to fix this? I've tried system restore but that didn't help either.

Sorry to bump this again but I'm no closer to finding a solution. I found out that one of 2 programs, hkserv.exe and hkcmd.exe, are responsible for making hotkeys work. Hkcmd is loaded but appears to do nothing. HKserv doesn't appear under the task manager processes even when I tell it to load on startup or load it manually. I've reinstalled Vaio Even Service but to no avail. I'm close to reformatting the PC to get the keys working again, so if anyone knows how to fix this please help me as reformatting would be a pain.

Edit: Ok I was just being stupid, I'd installed something different instead of the correct SonyUtilsDLL folder. Basicly I did SonyUtilsDLL, then Sony Shared Library and it worked. Vaio Event Control was already installed before this and I didn't bother to remove it but everything works great now :). Thanks!
