Guys, currently I have Sony SZ75, with 1 GB memory installed. I want to upgrade it to 4gigs 667 Sodimm DDR2 RAM, is it worth it? What I'm trying to say is, will my hardware fully support up to 4GB, or only 3.xx Gigs ?
With Vista 32Bit SP1, it can identify all up to 4gigs although it only use 3.xx memory.
Please help, thank you

I suggest against using a 32 bit OS with over 3GB of memory, as the system will "trip" over the extra addresses. I do not know how much your hardware supports, but if you do go to 4GB, be sure to switch to Vista x64.

Asked and addressed numerous times. All 32-bit Windows OSes can only use about 3.3GB with 4GB installed. A 64-bit OS can address all 4GB, but you'll still have about the same amount of memory taking overhead into account.
On my SZ90 I upgraded to 3GB and loved it because I ran a lot of VMs. If you're not doing a lot of stuff which will actually use > 2GB of memory, then I wouldn't say do it for the sake of doing it. -
yeah...ur choice: get 4gb and vista x64 or keep ur OS and use 3gb...
