Has anyone found a layout diagram for the SZ? Sony support is actally going to send me a CMOS battery since mine is bad (slow clock) so that I don't have to wait a week to send it into the service center. Unfortunately, they said that the SZ manual hasn't been released yet due to confidentiality. As if it's hard for a competitor to just buy a laptop and reverse engineer it!!

    thanks,

I don't have a design layout manual, but the battery for the CMOS is right under the center of the palmrest.

Just take off the keyboard and then the palmrest and you'll easily see and be able to access the cmos battery.

Great. Thanks Lyshen. I was quite suprised that Sony support agreed to simply send me a new CMOS battery rather than forcing me to ship in my laptop.
