    Hi All,

Has anyone noticed if the SZ palmrest begins to fade or discolor after a lot of use?

I noticed this on a friends SZ3xx. It wasn't that bad and I'm not sure if it looked like rust or something. Maybe the aluminium reacts with the sweat..?

I will post pictures if possible..

If it has aluminum palmrests, then it could be dead skin/dirt. Perhaps cleaning it off would make it look better.

Fading on the palmrests is pretty common in plastic notebooks though...some even lose their color-coating. Colored plastic is a plus :).
