I could be wrong but the price at bestbuy is 1899 and at compusa its 2100. I looked at the specs and they seem to have the same specs. Any reason for the 200 dollar price difference?

compusa is a better deal, i bought sz120 and they did a pricematch of best buy plus you get the 150.00 rebate, compusa price would be 2099 (subtract 100 for price match from best buy)=1999 then -150 rebate from compusa = 1849

So I just got back from Compusa and asked if compusa can price match to Best Buy's price. He said they could, but then I wouldn't be able to take advantage of the $150 reabate.

So couldn't I buy the notebook at the 2000 best buy price and print out my own copy of the rebate online and turn it in? Or does the price have to be the comp usa price for me to be able to take advantage of the rebate. The sales associate seemed like he only wanted me to choose one or the other.

Go to another CompUSA or go back at a different time when that guy isn’t there. You may find the right person who agrees to price match and gives the rebate. If all else fails talk to the manager... he may be more lenient.

If its not a CompUSA rebate you should be able to send it in afterwards. If the rebate comes from CompUSA then they may have a minimum price attached to giving the rebate.

It is a compusa rebate, but it doesn't mention anything about the price of the notebook to be eligible for the rebate on the actual rebate form. I hate haggeling with sales reps over stuff like this.
