Hi, I have a new Sony SZ laptop and have a few questions/points I'd like to share:

    1. How do you use the built in soundcard to record what's currently playing through Windows. I've only ever had Creative Sound Blaster sound cards, and in XP I could go into the Mixer's recording pane and select 'What U Hear'. I can't find that option anywhere.

    2. Is there any way to not mute the built in speakers when headphones or external speakers are plugged in? I have a much older Sony Vaio and there used to be an option I could uncheck saying 'Automatically mute speakers when headphones are plugged in'.

    3. Is anyone else having problems with Vista's built in 'Sleep' mode? Out of the box, I get about 10 seconds of HDD rumbling, and while the screen is off, the Power and Battery and WLAN lights are still on. I can't wake the computer up but I think the power is still being used.

    Thanks.
