After an extensive search in the forum archives, I could not find an old
link someone posted for a small wireless toggle application that would let
you bypass Smartwi completely. Smartwi has this built in, but I want
to do away with it altogether. I remember it was a link to Sony
Japans' FTP site but I could not pull it up.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about or could kindly point me to
that link/file I would appreciate it.

    TIA

    Let me re-phrase my post.

I'm looking for a link that was posted in the sony forum
that was for a sony oem or non-oem app that would install
a small wireless switching executable like the one SmartWi
uses but without using SmartWi itself. Something simple to
access and power the internal radios of the SZ series via
    Fn + F1.

If anyone has seen the link or remembers which thread and can point
me in the direction, I would be very grateful.

    TIA
