    Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has any information on the bandwidth of the Intel PRO Wireless adapter (3945ABG).

I did a regular broadband speed test with the SZ and with a Mac and the Mac had a bandwidth _twice_ that of the SZ (6Mbps instead of 3Mbps for the SZ). With an ethernet cable, I get about 6.5Mbps.

I ran the test several times, so I'm pretty sure the difference isn't a fluke, or due to variances in network traffic. I also made sure there was nothing else running on the computer and no other applications accessing the network.

Is the difference due to the adapter, the drivers, the configuration, a combination of things?

    Skrunch.
