    Hi,

I just noticed a week ago that my battery(ies) no longer works on my SZ160. I had 2 that I bought from eBay and none of them seems to work, although when plugged in the AC, Windows tells me they have around 70% of charge, but it neither goes up nor down.

After reading on the forums, someone suggested Sony is blocking non-OEM batteries from being charged (hardware) look, and suggested uninstalling both the AC Adapter and Battery from the Device Manager, to which I did. No reboot yet.

I then closed the lid, the computer went to sleep, and my AC adapter suddenly got cut off, so the computer literally lost power.

I tried rebooting it, but now I keep getting a blue screen when it is booting, then Windows reboots so fast I cannot see the message. Any combination of Safe Mode, with Command Prompt, even Last Known Configuration, all does the same thing, I cannot get it to load.

My only option is using the Sony Recovery Console, which as I guess, would DELETE all my files and resotre C: (I wish it would just re-install Windows).

Any thoughts on this guys? Thanks.

    Moe
