    SZ and light leakage- how bad is yours

    How bad is light leakage in your sz series? I'm trying to find out if I should return mine and try another sz laptop. When the windows bootup logo is on the screen how bad is your screen grey from the bottem up?

    sure. its not as bad as this photo, but pretty close. maybe about 15-20% less? The "grey" reaches about 35-40% of the screen

    I tried watching a WS movie. It was ok. Movie looked fine, but down below where the "black bar" is on a widescreen movie, it was a lighter black than when the movie was paused with a black screen

    I probaly would not have noticed this had I not read the thread, but yea my SZ is also about the same. It is bearable though.

    Less than in the picture, by a subjective %33.

    Not an annoyance when using the computer, but visible when viewing "black".
