How loud are the fan and HD of Sony SZ Core 2 Duo notebook? I frequently visit libraries and a loud notebook will definetly be an issue for me.

    Not hot
    Not loud

You can always adjust your fan level (1-5) using "Vaio Power Management".

Gaming in the library? Might get loud.

Library-esque tasks? Purrs like a kitten.

Running with the Power-Adapter and Gaming the SZ gets pretty loud, especially in a quiet sourrounding like a library.
Don't even start with the 7400GO - Sony SZ gone wild :D
