This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     SZ mass storage issues after restore?...

    My SZ360 is playing funnies with me...

    ...I reinstalled from the restore partition, and all seemed to be great... except that I can't seem to use my mass storage devices. It started with the included ExpressCard not wanting to be installed, but I just tried my external USB drive and it doesn't want to play either.

    The thought of having to reinstall everything for the opportunity for it to screw me again doesn't thrill me either. :(


    ...anyone else have the same issue?

    ...it also seems like the "standard" set of drivers in the OS aren't doing their job either... like, I went to use a standard USB mouse the other day, and now that I think of it, it didn't go as smoothly as it should have... and very driver related.
