HI, I am new to this forum and have basically been lurking aound for a few weeks.
After much debate, i went ahead and purchased a Sony Sz120 yesterday from Compusa for $1899 with mail in rebates.

So far, it's perfect, with two exceptions, one of them being the slightly loose battery, which doesn't bother me too much as I really notice only when I pick it up and only then if i touch it or give it a littke shake, but the other thing I notice is that the right touchpad button rattles slightly when I touch it.
The touchpad is fine, not loose at all and the left button is fine as well.

Has anyone else noticed this problem? I am not sure if I should exchange the laptop for a different one or just keep it as it is a tiny problem and who knows what problem I might encounter with a different Sz, but it does bother me.
Any advice on what I should do? Thanks in advance and sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum. :)

This should be in the Sony forum. Just wait and a mod will move it. And welcome to the forums.

Yeah, my SZ also had a noisy touchpad button (left side on mine). While I had the machine open to upgrade the hard drive, I ended up putting a piece of transparent tape on the backside of the touchpad button, where it would normally be plastic hitting the switch. Only in use 2 weeks, but works well. Shouldn't have to tape up a >$2K machine, but the nice parts of the SZ seem to make it worthwhile!
