Well, after scouring the posts here and at notebookforums, I had to see for myself if there's really a difference between the two screens quality wise. I was lucky enough to wander into my local Fry's and they had both right next to each other. Without a doubt, the 160 is the better of the two. It is brighter, whiter and shows colors more accurately. Brightness on max, both on speed mode for graphics and all settings to default. If you can't find both, compare a SZ 120 to a TX-750 and you'll see the difference.
I'm now torn between the TX-750 and SZ-160. Oh, the choices.

i have the 120 and the screen looks beautiful to me...i can see it getting any better..guess i have to see the better one.

When these things first came out, I did the same "recon" work for comparison purposes. The gist of my findings were that, by itself, the non-premium screens are very good. It's simply that the premium screens are THAT MUCH BETTER. It's really amazing. I remember a post saying that the difference between screens is like dating Angelina Jolie, but lusting after Jessica Alba...
