So I'm pretty much set on buying an SZ.
After looking around at some online stores, I'm a bit confused about Sony's model naming scheme.

Basically my question is, how do I know if a particular model has carbon fiber casing?

    Thanks!

    N/Cs are fiber carbon casing
N/Xs are premium fiber carbon casings, basically carbon fiber with a special coat of paint or something that makes the carbon fiber stand out more.
Anything else like N/Bs are your normal magnesium casing.

Remember, there is more to just carbon fiber casing between the high end models and the magnesium model. For instance, the carbon fiber models also have LED screens while the cheaper models do not.

Yes, I did forget about the CTO models. I dont remember if they have the same N/? designation but CTO (Custom to built models) like the SZ680 are synonymous to N/Cs. I dont know of a US CTO that offers the premium carbon fiber.
