Just got my MS BT mouse in the mail and it works great with the SZ. I can even have multiple BT connections going at once with the SZ. Range is great too, lappy can be in the livingroom downstairs and I can even run upto my office without loosing connection with my headset.

Do you have a link for it? I'm interested in this...and particularly whether TWO headsets can be used from the same laptop via bluetooth. This would be very nice on airplanes...without having wires to fumble with when traveling with my wife.
Any info? Thanks!

and I didn't get it cause I thought it's useless...

i'm currently using the jabra bt500, good thing about that is it can be synced to 2 devices (vaio and my treo). if either one requests connection, it'll connect to it. i use it with vonage softphone when i'm at home or in the office.
yes u can have 2 headsets setup to use on the vaio, but not at the sametime. it can be stored as devices and u pick which one u want it to connect to. -
What's the reason for this??!!
So far, the only mouse I've seen with a full set of forward/back/wheel buttons is the desktop-sized Microsoft Bluetooth mouse. I like it on my desk, but it's quite huge for a laptop bag or airplane tray.
Anyone know of a fully "buttoned" Bluetooth mouse that isn't huge???

yes that's why it took me so long to even get a bt mouse, and i've looked everywhere!!! logitech made a good one too but i cant find it anywhere without the keyboard.

I bought the Logitech BT 270 at CompUSA and it works fairly well. I'm not crazy about it for gaming, but it's primarily just used for business purposes.
-
Can you use BT on an airplane? Isn't transmission of anything not allowed?
-
the logitech v270's review stated that it loses connection, do you have the same problem with the microsoft mouse?
-
I also could not find a small mouse with buttons. I ended up getting the MS for home and a Think Outside for the road. This works OK, but a nice small mouse with buttons would be nice. Someone post if you have found one.

I've had no problems with the 270 losing connection, but then again, I didn't load the Logitech drivers. I just used whatever was native on my SZ. Those who complain about losing connection likely installed the Logitech drivers.
What is a bit annoying is the slight "lag" you get after the mouse hasn't been touched for awhile. It's slight, in the millisecond range, but the mouse goes into powersave mode if not touched for several seconds. I'd rather it didn't do that, but again, not a big issue. Just noticeable versus a wired or "always awake" wireless mouse.
After my first SZ got returned due to broken USB ports, I'm being EXTRA cautious now with my second. I don't want a repeat so I'm trying to avoid using the USB ports as much as I can. -
I bought Bluetooth mouse for SZ and have used for two weeks.
This thing is Battery eating monster!
I don't regret buying it because it works so well
but definitely you need a set of rechargeable batteries. -
Which mouse did you buy Yooni? I've only had my Logitech 270 for about a week now and was wondering what kind of battery life to expect.

I got this one. It works great, but man is it tiny. You don't click buttons with the tips of your fingers, but closer to the knuckle. It wirks fine, but takes some getting used to. -
Duh. I got this one from Sony
http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INT...ice&ProductSKU=VGPBMS30&TabName=feature&var2=
It's VGP-BMS30
cost me 65.
It's pretty darn big. It's wireless , but not portable.
It's heavy as well. But I like the 'heaviness' now. Just took some time to get used to it and I like it.
On the webpage They say
USB Interface: USB enables the mouse to be powered directly from your computer.
but there isn't any USB port on it.
My AA batteries just go about a week.
They say 3 months on the page but I would say you cheaters! -
NiMh batteries are best for high-draw deveces like digital camera with flash...not for items that slowly pull low power.
Get a set of alkalines and you'll get longer life.

I'm using the MX900 logitech bluetooth mouse. Its great there is no lag and performs perfectly, it has 5 buttons, plus two custumizable ones. It was easy to connect, and the battery lasts two full days of use, just gotta leave it to charge overnight, (it brings a bases station). Only complaint is that the mouse doesn't have a on/off switch. When I want to turn it off gotta take out the battery, which isn't hard to do but I would have like the switch.
-
What I like best about the Logitech 270 is that it's small, has 3 buttons and the lag is only noticeable when it "wakes up" after not being used for awhile. I just used it while playing Day of Defeat a little bit ago and it worked fine! Plus it DOES have an on/off switch on the bottom, it comes with a nice neoprene carrying case for travel and it's silver so it matches my SZ. I'm very pleased....don't believe the negative reviews you may have read. It's a great mouse. Just do NOT install the Logitech software. The Vaio's native Bluetooth manager recognized and configured the mouse automatically for me.

This mouse also looks good, brings charging station; on/off swithc; 3 buttons plus scroll wheel and it looks sweet:
