    is there a solution like a SATA box, for replace useless DVD-RW with a more usefull 250GB second hardisk?

    No. Some notebooks have that capability, but most are business laptops that cost good $$$.

    Just buy a 2.5" enclosure and put a mobile drive in that. It's small enough to pack with you. Or if you're primarily only using your system at home then setup a network with a NAS storage drive. You'll be able to access the drive wirelessly from anywhere in the house.
