    Hello,
I just got an ac adapter that rated little different than my old one.
    orignal sz-adapter vgn-ac19v10:
    19.5V
    input: 100-240 ~1.3A 50-60hz
    output: 19.5v = 4.7A

the one i got is PCGA-AC19V1
    19.5V
    input: 100-240 ~1.6A 50-60hz
    output: 19.5v = 4.7A

I'm not an electrician so I don't know if the Input matters or not. I'm worry that the difference in input of +.3A would cause any problems to my battery? But since it input, i would assume it only affects the adapter itself and not the battery. Max output of 4.7A is on both so it wouldn't mess up my battery?

Same voltage & current delivered to you laptop...that's all that matters in terms of your laptop. If the new charger itself requires higher current than the old one to supply the same specified power to laptop, that means it could be less efficient -- which means it will get a bit warmers.
